Kimba Zabalgana opens its doors to the music with 3 specific programs aimed at children from 1 year. This centre is also news because it is carrying our an extension wich will allow to have 3 new classrooms in September.
MUSICAL MENU FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
Under the title "Menu musical for the whole family" Maite Sanchez Romanos, professor of Suzuki violin by the Suzuki Association European, Middle Grade at the Conservatory of Music of Terrassa and teacher for beginers to music for children from 9 months to 6 years in Schools Kimba, will give a talk where she will propose different tools to promote the harmonious and balanced growth of children, as well as developing motor and language.
The conference will propose a series of simple exercises and fun activities designed for different stages of development, from the months preceding the birth to 6 years, to practice at home.

MUSIC FOR CHILDREN
The next year at Kimba will introduce children to music. The schools will implement 3 different programs depending on the pupils' age. These will not only introduce children to music, they will educate them at the same time.
This service will begin at the start of the year, in September, not only for Kimba pupils but for children who do not attend the schools as well.
Kimba preschools are developing various programs, led by an expert, to introduce children to music. Kimba is the only authorised centre in Álava that uses the famous Suzuki method.
Using the Suzuki method the children develop innate qualities that are important for daily life: listening skills, coordination, rhythm, concentration, sensitivity, creativity and memory.
It is a method based on the way of learning ones mother tongue.

- MUSIKIMBAS
Objective: to share the pleasure of making music with the child, teacher and parents.
Metodology: chilsdren´s songs, different recitals, percussion instruments and traditional games.
Age: 1- to 2-year-olds.
No. of pupils and duration: groups of 5 to 10 children accompanied by an adult. One 30-minute class per week.
Price: €30/month.
- MUSIC AND MOVEMENT
Objective: to work on basic skills such as concentration and perception of sound, memory for rhythm and melody, development of motor and verbal skills and voice projection.
Methodology: using music, dance and imagination through games.
Age: 3 to 4 year-olds.
No. of pupils and duration: groups of 5 to 10 children. One 45-minute class per week.
Price: €40/month.
- VIOLIN SUZUKI
Objective: to educate children in and introduce them to music by learning to play the violin.
Methodology: by stimulating the child’s musical talent by introducing them to the violin.
Age: children from 3 years upwards accompanied by adults.
No. of pupils and duration: one individual 30-minute class per week and one group class per month.
Price: €75/month.
